For Brewers
The Canning Hub’s journey began with the opening of Hello Brew Co. in Spokane, WA, where we first received approval to produce and sell our unique beers. However, the onset of COVID restrictions significantly altered traditional beer selling methods and consumer habits. Faced with these challenges, Hello swiftly adapted, turning our focus to beer packaging, particularly in cans. This pivot became a crucial aspect of our brand identity and a key factor in our survival during the pandemic.
In those early days, a local brewery generously offered us access to their canning machine, which allowed us to package small volumes of our beer directly from kegs into cans, a method we employed for nearly every product we created. This shift not only helped us persevere but also ingrained a new facet into Hello's identity.
In our journey from Spokane to Fort Collins, the goodwill of local breweries played a pivotal role. These breweries graciously allowed us access to their canning machines, a gesture of community support that we deeply value. While their assistance was instrumental in enabling us to continue packaging our beer in cans, it was clear to us that this was a favor born of camaraderie, not a commercial service.
Years of transporting kegs for canning laid the foundation for our next significant venture: The Canning Hub. A place where we continue the communal spirit of the craft beer industry, while also creating a consistent, reliable, and professional pathway for others to package their craft products.
